This is what “additional support” can mean
You are not asking for an easier test. You are asking for the barriers that affect you to be understood.
If sensory overload affects you, explain the triggers and ask the DVSA to consider the route and surroundings, including roadworks or glare. A traffic-free route is not guaranteed.
If a busy location overloads you, the examiner may be able to choose somewhere calmer and more suitable.
Ask for short, clear directions given in good time, with repetition when needed, so you have time to understand what is being asked.
Ask for time to understand spoken instructions. If you are deaf or have a hearing impairment, agree hand signals with the examiner before driving.
Support is considered individually. The driving standard required to pass stays the same. Read the official examiner guidance.
Everything in one place
Find the official guidance, booking steps, illustrated examples and request wording together, so you can work out your next step without searching across lots of different pages.
Official DVSA guidance is free. You are paying for the organised handbook and my personal help with understanding and preparing your request. You are not paying for access to an adjustment.
12 months of personal one to one support included at no extra cost.

Personal support included
Your handbook includes 12 months of personal support, so you can come back to me if you get stuck.
Support is provided by email or direct message. Use email for personal circumstances and do not send medical records or booking identifiers. I normally reply within two working days.

Real people. Real test days.
Messages shared by learners and families who used or requested additional support.
Your guide really helped knowing how to word her needs, and they checked it all with her before they started.

“Used it for my daughter and she passed first time with only two minors.”

“I told them I need time to process… then I passed with one minor.”

“My examiner allowed me to do it at the quiet test centre instead.”
Individual experiences vary. Additional support does not change the driving standard required to pass.

Questions learners ask me
A formal diagnosis and evidence of a difficulty are not the same thing. For a practical test, explain your difficulty and the support you need. Some theory-test reading support requires evidence, which can include a letter or report from an educational or medical professional. The handbook explains the different routes.
That is not a problem. The handbook separates the steps for theory and practical tests and shows you how to deal with an existing booking, what to prepare and what to write.
Yes. It covers theory and practical car tests in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland uses a separate DVA process. You get booking guidance and example wording, alongside the official source links.
You receive the complete 81 page handbook, its interactive request helper and 12 months of personal one to one support from Anil at no extra cost, including help with your request wording and understanding a DVSA response. One payment. No subscription.
After payment, you can access the PDF on the confirmation page and through your purchase email. Contact Anil if you need help accessing your download or using your included personal support.
Yes. Email Anil before buying to agree who will receive the support. Support covers one purchaser unless a different supported learner has been agreed.
No. You are buying independent guidance, not access to DVSA support. DVSA decides what can be arranged, and the driving standard required to pass stays the same.
Your purchase includes 12 months of reasonable personal guidance by email or direct message. I can help you understand the handbook, identify relevant support options and prepare or review your request wording.
Your original price and agreed support terms still apply. If you need help checking what was included when you bought, contact Anil.
